Analysis of:	All kind of highly stressed oils and greases which contents antioxidants, for example turbine oils, oil for gears, compressors and gas engines, circular lubrication and heat carrier oil.
Brief description:	During sample preparation the antioxidants are separated from the oil by adding a solvent and a substrate. According the principle of voltametry a current-time-curve is measured. Position and area of the peaks characterise type and amount of the antioxidant additives. The remaining antioxidants are calculated by integration of the adequate peak areas in comparison to the fresh oil.
Statement:	The result is the concentration of antioxidants in relation to the fresh oil. Due to the fact that the antioxidants are continuously reduced during their lifetime, it`s possible to estimate the remaining lifetime of the oil. If all antioxidants are used, an increased oxidation of the oil takes place. The oil quality fall off dramatically and the oil is not longer able to provide it’s functionality.
